VW Online Store

http://stores.ebay.com.au/VW-Online-Store?_rdc=1

A bucketload of sales and 100%, so they're obviously doing something right.

I just curious if they are tied in with one of the bigger established VW shops somewhere, or struck out independent.
Does anyone know if they are OZ with a local warehouse, or a "post-direct" out from O/seas?

Hi there,

The owner opened his online business himself, seperate to anyone else. When I have picked up stuff he has always had the stock here in Sydney (Liverpool area) when I purchased it. That's not saying he may not have stuff sent from OS, but not the time I bought something.

Kev

I thought rebuilding a VW would be cheap - Shit I was wrong, just don't let the wife know !!!!

I think Vollks is different (and going again.......looked like it had been scammed).

Thanks for the info Kev, good to know about local stock, less waiting around.

I have brought a few parts from Vollks and found the service exceptional,I asked a question they rang and confirmed the part and then supplied it with no problems for delivery the next day. This was as good or better than the service that I had received from some trade suppliers so I say why bugger about with ebay suppliers?

Good to hear you've had good service from the locals.

When it's well over 200km to the nearest traffic light like where I live though, then Ebay is your friend.

Yes being out in the boondooks does have it's disadvantages but saying that even when I was purchasing Lada parts and they were supplied by the distributor in WA i usually received them in Taree within 2 days, sometimes overnight if they sent them direct from the warehouse, but I used suppliers for my parts who would perform and had quality parts.
