[Found a car, thanks] Early Beetle

Hi guys, been out of the VW scene for a long time, but finally looking at purchasing a VW Beetle again.
I am hoping to locate an early Beetle (Rag-top/Split window/oval etc) in good, running, rust free condition.
It doesn't HAVE to be that early, but pre 68 is a must. I don't mind mild modifications to driveline/engine/running gear but stock is great if possible.
Left Hand Drive is fine too. I was rather struck by the 58 Rag top listed further down that sold (for a 2nd time) a month ago or so...something like that would be perfect.
I am located in Canberra, ACT, but I'm happy to look at cars from anywhere in Aus (Happy to import if I have to, too).
Looking to purchase early in July...budget is up to $20k (might be able to stretch that a bit for the 'perfect' Beetle) Please feel free to give advice on the best places to look/buy from and DO let me know if you have a nice early Beetle you are looking to sell in the near future. Contact in thread or via PM, thanks, Pete.

Pity you want an early, a real nice ' 76 factory RHD vert would have been the go
Ok the RHD bit isn't factory, I know that

Thanks Gents. I can read PM's at this stage, just can't reply to them yet. That is one extremely nice Bug you have there GASBNR...pretty much exactly what I'm llooking for...
Just can't commit to purchasing a new car til the new financial year arrives (I am self employed and need this years tax assessment notice before I can fund this new beetle) If you aren't in a rush to sell, I will def's be in touch. Thanks again, Pete.

Thanks all, settled on a rust free, but roughish 66 beetle. Will be throwing the spare funds at a big built engine, brakes and handling mods...will start a build thread eventually, cheers for the great response via PM's, much appreciated.
