SOLD 1600 TP 1000 klm SMOOTH

This 1600 TP was built for my 15 window kombi resto using new and rebuilt factory parts ( no Chinese ). I registered it in December and have gone to some lengths to get this thing running to its full OG potential.
I ditched the new bristol carb in favour of a rebuilt 34 pict Solex (kit throttle plate bushes etc ) found and had an OG Bosch SVDA rebuilt, and it is now extremely smooth runs like a top NEVER uses or drips any old done 1,000 KLMs,

UNFORTUNATELY after ditching the reduction hub rear in favour of a IRS beetle box its not quite up to taking off when fully loaded in first gear. Fine 1 or 2 up but with half a dozen people it struggles although its great once going 1st gear loaded is a chore.
I am about to start a stroker engine build and as this engine is too smooth to strip for the tinware etc I could reuse so I would like to sell it as whole going concern Perhaps less the alternator fan shroud and fan? Will come with fan belt
It will be available in 6-8 weeks and I want $1600 it will cost me this much for a new case and tinware alone. The engine is in Port Macquarie but I can arrange for a Sydney pick up or Byron Bay Also happy to strap on a palet and drop of at Toll or other local carriers .
If there is any interest let me know otherwise she may have to get the chop. Mitchell
