I am taking Herb out of the shed for a run, I have missed the last couple of years due to the bubs but they are growing up quick and think Herb looks
lonely in the shed. Am glad he wont be lonely out there..

Got an email today saying our entry had been accepted so really excited about that now!
Time to do some quick prep before we go!
Will also see about a new camera and a good mount for it.....

You need to be there Friday morning to pit together. Even so, you still end up in the back paddock, but close to the showers.

down loaded the entry list and it shows 3 formula Vees, 1 VW special, 1 fastback, 6 beetles, 1 Mk1 Golf, 1 x 914 porsche and 1 Audi Quattro S1.
great showing by the VW's!
Should be an interesting week, I'm in the pre72 touring cars 3501-5100cc up against 4 Ford trans Am mustangs!! won't they be shitty

been fishing up at Frazer since Saturday and home tonight. Car was packed into the trailer last week so we are heading off early tomorrow so between
Dave and I and I think Noel we should be able to get a good spot for the VW's.

Great weekend was had a Leyburn by all, except maybe Greg who put a rod thru the Type 4 motor. He still managed a mid 55 sec run on his first run
which is very impressive.
Here is a link to my 5th run which was my second fastest for the weekend. unfortunately the camera died on the final run which was 1/2 second faster
and good enough for 2nd in class. Not bad against 3 other cars all race prepared V8 mustangs.

We had a ball and will be back next year with new brakes and new rubber!
