Karmann Ghia - 1962


Recently bought. Matching numbers. 1962. 1200. Pearly White (orig. colour resprayed).

Previous life with owners in WA, VIC and QLD.

New owner (me - couple of weeks now) in QLD.

Recognise it? Won Best KG and Visitors Choice at WA show a few years ago. Hope to contact all owners.

Thanks. She's a stunner alright. Dropped jaws all around on the drive home. :cool:
Nice wedding car - although a wee bit cramped in the back.
Few issues to deal with, but nothing serious. Original interior, new rubbers... untouched paint inside.
Even has an immobiliser fitted.
Work's busy so hope to get it on the road in a month's time.
Would be nice to see if anyone recognises it, once owned it, know who once owned it.
Original RHD Australian delivered via the Fiji route - states on VW certificate. Still the orig. 1200 engine (rebuilt).

Nice looking car. Slip the left hand front seat out if you want to use it for a wedding car,I did that for my son's wedding a few years ago and it worked well.
