Whitewalls

Hey,

There was a pretty big post recently about whitewalls and flaps in the General section. If you can't be bothered going though it, just do a search for whitewalls and it will come up. I got mine on ebay for $60 new, but that took a lot of watching, so hopefully the post will help.
Cheers.

I like those Flaps, at about 80 k's, the flaps start to make their noise. I think they would be real cool. Hope that they dont reduce air to the ventilated disks though. Good luck finding..
Please tell us how you go with them when you get em....

Hi

I have heard that they are not suitable for radial tyres because they have to much flex.

Be a little careful of the inserted whitewalls, they look great for a short period but tend to discolour badly after a while. This seems to be aggravated with some tyre cleaners and blackening agents.

You would be surprised how many people have these whitewalls on the *inside* of the trye because of this.
