75 Rear bumper

Today some goose parked behind me and hopped out of their car without putting the hand brake on. Consequently their car rolled forward and collected my rear bumper. The damage is not really bad but bad enough to ripple the bumper at the mounts. My question is, is it worth fixing the original which is my preference or is there any decent repro ones out there. If fixing is better option where would the best place to get done in Sydney. Thanks in advance, Adam

If the goose is paying, I would get your bumper repaired and rechromed by a reputable place. This is about $400 these days. It is a very labour intensive and chemically expensive process to restore a chrome bumper properly. A cheap job looks like a cheap job

Just Kamper have Mexican or Brazilian rear bumpers for under $200, if it becomes an insurance job, you will get whatever they choose.
