adding pictures

Hello all. I am trying to add a post with pictures but every time I try it is telling me that the file is too big. How does everyone else add pics.

If your using windows, the Paint programme in Accessories has an image resize function.
Click Image > Resize (or Ctrl W).... I use about 30 percent in horizontal and vertical ( these have to both be the same or you stretch the image).
Save the image as a new name. Upload every time. This old simple programme can be used for cropping and editing photos.

Or there's a program on Windows called Microsoft Picture manager.
Use it all the time to crop, compress etc.
