Hello fish26,

The Syngear Pushrod Tubes are designed for the standard engine geometry.
They have an inner diameter of 17 mm and an outer diameter of 25 mm.

For high lift rockers you need at least 21 mm inner diameter on a length of about 150 mm calculated from the head side.

If your engine has shortened cylinders then you can use the 1600 ccm tubes (200 mm total length) for doing this modification
because you will reduce the length by 6 mm (seat of the gasket on head side will be cut off).

For measuring the right length I can send a special tool with the set.
At our web site you will find a list of instructions by using the following link: "http://www.syngear.co.uk/instructions.php".
The "Syngear Pushrod Tube adapting procedure" shows how to determine the right lenght.

The machining of a new seat for the head side gasket is not very difficult. The standard gaskets can be used together with sligtly bigger
supporting washers on the head side.

So if you have the possibility to use a machining shop the modification is no problem.

For further support you are welcome

Best wishes

Ludwig

Do the same spring loaded pushrod tubes suit a 2100cc WBX T3 engine?
