New project

So, I sold my ute.....

But, I found this to keep me busy , 6/76 Sopru conversion. Body is damn good and chassis is sweet, the pop needs some glassing but overall it's pretty decent.

Already ordering from justK. Pulled the engine early this morn then stripped it down of its tin for blasting tomorrow. Pulled all the glass out, dash n bits n pieces....
What are peeps take on blanking off the front seats so you can't walk thru to the rear?
Undecided on that. Working on new COLOR scheme too......

The walk through is a valuable thing in our experience of using a camper quite extensively.
I'd recommend keeping it.

Ahh yes, but the truth is I didn't touch the underneath as it is in such good condition. I didn't install an aftermarket wiring loom,no power windows, installed central locking though, did all rubbers and jk slider Windows, installed a agm deep cycle batt with inverter, had my mate down the road install USB and power outlets with 15 amp imput for use at caravan park. New canvas , brakes, lights etc.
New clutch, Rod Penrose carbs and VS exhaust, I just dropped it off at Leon's for dyno and tune so it's purring for the next long haul camp trip...
I still have some of the interior to finish off but I'm pretty stoked.

Ohhhh and for a non believer of many years about LED driving lights, that bar on the front lights up the nite amazingly. I'm a convert now to both LED and also 2 pac paint jobs, acrylic is dead to me now......

I went camping.......
Few things to fix up but it was so much smoother on highway than the dual cab , drove real nice and felt good, the camping part needs some fine tuning but I'm pretty happy.....
