[WTB - NSW] Type 3 Squareback

So , first post on the site , Hi to all the members.
I'm back in the market looking for a Type 3 wagon.Owned one years and years ago and loved it ( till engine mount issues left me in a precarious situation on the Harbour Bridge) Not really knowing that it wasn't too big an issue and not being to cash flush at the time I retired the old girl.
Situation now is that the teenager is about to get his licence and we are selling him our Mazda 2 so I need new wheels .
Understand the issues with old cars (have a Datsun 260Z ) but need something to get to and from work and can carry a bit of gear and perhaps an extra person or two . So the wife has given permission to buy another old car(Took a bit of negotiation) and I thought this would be a good start the search.
Budget wise , I always believe its best to get the best you can afford , but not really sure what you would be looking at,not for a concourse car but hopefully rust free mechanically sound car . Interior not so important as I would probably change that in due time . I was hoping maybe 15K give or take would get something decent .
Not particularly worried about the year either , quite happy with a later model (I assume maybe not as collectable as earlier cars?)
So , if anyone has any leads or advice ( Feel free to be brutal if I'm way off on expectations, as I know with the Datsun how people underestimate prices of good examples ) Can be contacted via PM , email or ph; 0409650463 Thanks , Will

G'day and welcome

There are good buys with T3's out there
I have seen a couple of good buys recently

With that budget you should get a ripper - especially if you dont mind a late version
