68 circuit car build


Gday guys just introducing my self my names cam taylor my brother Mac bought the number 8 off Greg and I must say it is one quick machine so here's the thing I am building a 68 circuit car as a sister car to the number 8 same colour but with two 8 balls hence 88 lol putting the cage in now so I'm asking advice on a rack and pinion centre mount for weight any thoughts or products recommendations would be greatly appreciated also after some 4 spot calipers for the front sorry but it's disc brakes all round and its Greg cheers all great site

Do you mean cenntre seating with raack and pinnion??

Gotchya. Pretty sure you could do it.just a bit of messing around getting the rack height and angle right..
I had a 2:1 quickener with my std steeering box and had 1 turn lock to lock and it was sooo heavy.could put up with it but the feel i got through the steering wheel was crap,i didnt like it. So i sold it and now made just an extension plate to the pitman arm and will have a play with that.try and get it 1.5-1.75 turns lock to lock or something..
