Longer frame horn bolts
Does anyone know where you can get the longer frame horn/transmission mount bolts from? I have seen them somewhere but cannot remember where.. I need
to mount the Subarugear mount on top of the Manxter's cage rear brace thingy.. Thanks!
It will all be OK in the end, if it's not OK it's not the end!

I've never heard of longer ones for there. The bolts are long enough so the bolt on 3 point kafer bars don't present a problem but s'pose more than
this would.
I'd take one to a bolt supplier and see if they can help. I wouldn't be surprised if it was classed as an ultra fine thread due to the bolts
diameter.

Cheers guys, yeah I found the thread size and length on the samba, also found some high tensile bolts that are longer but have no step, so I will
machine some collars up and tig them on if I can't buy any with shoulders.
It will all be OK in the end, if it's not OK it's not the end!

Welding not a good idea...make the collars a shrink-fit on the bolts, or Loctite them on.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!
