What have people done for the 2 fuel line going into the tank ?

there are many ways to do this, you need an outlet at the bottom and a return near the top. Anyway you do it will involve welding which needs to be done carefully.

On of the best solutions that I saw was on Micks58 build, an extension was welded on the passenger side tank and an internal pump was fitted in there
