Where to look for VWs?
Hi all!
I am new to VW scene here in AU and would like to buy a bug between 60-70'. I've been waiting for the right applicant for a while and know only
carsales, carsguide, ebay, and gumtree, and of course this one. Where else to look? My budget is roughly 7-9k and let me say I am not spoilt for
choice. I'm after a rust free, unmolested one. Am I asking too much? Budget is way too low ?Carsales is overpriced in many cases, ebay does not much
to offer, and so on. Live in Sydney, can't drive interstate for inspections. Any workshops around? They might have something for sale.
Thanks
Csaba.

Carsales show the advertised price, not the price that they will sell for. Make them an offer if you see something that you like.
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.
Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!

I hate to use the fb letters but there are vw buys/sell pages both national and state.
Any Show will generally have at least a couple of cars with sale tags on them.
Good luck, there are plenty out there, just finding the right one is hard.
