K's per litre?
As the tittle says, what average do you fellas get with CB's? With the aerodynamics of a wall and lower gearing than a beetle it can't be good. 10K
or under?

I fitted an early type 3 gearbox with higher top ratio, made long drives a bit more pleasant. The fuel cost is irrelevant when it comes to the
pleasure of driving a Country Buggy!

I don't think that 99.9% of Country Buggy owners care about fuel economy, drag component, aerodynamics or lack there of aerodynamics of the vehicle.
It's not about how much fuel economy you get with the vehicle but rather the enjoyment of owning and driving a rare piece of automotive history.
I have a Honda Civic that gets great fuel economy if anyone would like to trade their Country Buggy for a more fuel efficient car. I won't hold my
breath on that one.

Is that why people lower them and tub the rears because they are such a rare piece of automotive history?
Bit like giving a Ferrari F40 a 6" body lift and whacking on a set of 33" knobby tyres Same mentality, I must thank you again for your replies, very constructive and helpful, if I ever have any more
queries I won't hesitate to post again

I think it would be measured in, well as the Americans' would say "Smiles per gallon."
Nobody can drive you crazy, unless you give them the keys.
