Mark 4 GTI intercooler

Wondering if the stack side mount intercooler is water to air or air to air?

As you can see the cooling fins then I'd say it's air to air. Water to air means the core is enclosed in a water jacket. There are some people who spray water on the air to air intercooler for additional cooling at high boost pressures too :)
