Can I ask, with this thread..

How does one actually sell their number plates in nsw??

I am considering putting my 62 on to historic rego, In which case I would like to either keep or sell my zv62vw plates

I Know the choices are to either give them back to the rta, or put them in storage. With storage, does that actually mean surrendering the plates to the rms for a fee, or keeping them wihile paying the fee???

I see many people either selling plates, or at very least keeping them on the wall as a memento?

Maybe I'm going against the thread rules as I'm not actually replying with no iintent to buy. Just scratching my head as to how all this works

Cheers, Zac

ah, I see.

I was confused as I have seen people selling "plates" on gumtree and so forth.
selling with a vehicle makes more sense

cheers for clarifying
