Parts info on 56 ovals.....DOOR's interchangeable??
Hi guys, I have just bought myself a 56 oval to build but need some info on Std parts etc, I have never built a stock car so I have no idea... It's a
pretty solid car, floors need replacing and a few little rust spots on the body etc, pretty easy compared my race car really...
Now the doors I have are bare, I do have a box of bits n Bobs but know I'll have to buy a heap of parts etc.... Is there an exploded view on the
doors and even a thread somewhere of how to rebuild them to have a look at.... I'll keep it at this for now... Baby steps lol
Cheers

I have about two weeks work on it left, and it's been like that for a year, ha.. Just lost a bit of motivation really.. I'll still finish it just
when I get some oomph back.. Been doing other things instead.... But when the race cars done, I'm going to try and sell it as I really don't miss
racing much at all...

Yup and those 71 gutters needed a fair bit of re-profiling to match the shape of the 56.

I'm back, I have some early 60 doors so in regards to the non oval door latch and strikers... Will the 60 latch work with the oval striker or can I
bolt on a 60's striker....
Cheers
