Where can I get a subaru conversion done?

Hey all,

I live in Brisbane. My type 3 notchback needs some work done on it and I'm looking into converting to a subaru engine. Do you know of any mechanics up here that specialise in the full conversion?

Really appreciate any recommendations.

Cheers.

Custom VeeDub at Stafford used to provide the service but not sure if they still do. Would be a starting point if you can't do ti yourself.

Robins got a bus in atm that hes converted. Be worth while dropping by for a look. And with the stories of vw specalist shops on the southside of brissy raping people with vw porsches etc please do your homework! You should be able to get some references of work done.

Cheers.

It is on my list of things to do, Superbug with a conversion as a sleeper, has been for about 10 years now. It would of course be easier +/- cheaper to find one already converted but seems everyone holds onto them
