which auto for subaru engine

Hi have a vw with a subaru engine mated to a 091 2L Kombi box. What is the best auto gearbox if i were to swap it over to an auto?
Approximate cost for the box and parts?

What would my 091 box be worth?

Rumour has it that Subagears may have a reversed Subaru auto in the pipeline. That would certainly be the way to go.

Its only a rumour as have talked to Todd several times. T3 auto box is your ticket if you can find one otherwise T2 auto box.

Spoke to Todd recently and he has a working prototype on his bench?
So may be worth giving him a call and seeing what the eta is.

Subaru auto is a lot bigger box and would require some mod to get it to fit. T3/T2 auto would bolt straight in place of the 091.
