Headliner installer recomendation

Anyone know of a mobile upholsterer, (maybe retired ) that would know how to properly install a new ghia headliner. Ghia is in Sydney on North Shore-St Ives 2075. Not Driveable as being reassembled and I really don't want to trailer it.. TXT,PM, or call
0421 464 976 .

I did my own. Not that hard. Get lots of butterfly clips. Google it.don't use spray on glue.

Hi Alansvw

I'm just about to start my hood. just trial fitting at the moment. Not sure if its going to be easy, but possible. Have a look at the Samba link attached below, step by step instructions for the headliner, padding and top hood.

Looks like a lot of work compared to a coupe... good luck, post some pics when done.

Bit different to a Coupe and I would guess harder to fit. I don't want to try fitting it myself, there's do much other stuff I can be working on that I know I can do. Just need to find an motor trimmer willing to travel to St Ives.

Great News... the Karmann Ghia is a Cabriolet which means it has a padded roof inside.... unlike a convertible which only had the outer skin... of course everything with a roof that comes down is now called a convertible, that is the original difference....
