34 pict 3 rebuild vs $120 Ebay 34 pict 3
My beetle started running rough on a very low fuel level recently. Without looking at it too closely yet, I assume I have sucked crap from the tank
into the carb so figure while Im at it I should put a kit through it.
I have looked at rebuild kits, and saw some repro carbs on ebay for $120. has anyone seen or used one of these carbs?

Do I rebuild the Solex or try the ebay repro?
Hard to imagine, but there is even repro $140 44IDFs these days. I wonder just how bad they are?

Is the 34 Pict 3 correct carb for a 1600 SP?

30pict-2 is for a 1600 single port they run very smoothly. better than a 34 pict i esp on a TP rock solid carb
