Kafer Cup Brace

Hello all,

I tried using teh search function but couldn't find the post about the person who was having made and selling the 3 and 5 bar kafer cup braces.

Anyone know who it was or have a link?

Cheers :)

I made my own using moly tube and some rose joints that I bought from UK eBaY. they are 3/8"x 7/16" UNF Male Right & left Hand Thread Rose Joint, I bought them from these guys, they were much cheaper than buying them here https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/mcgillmotorsport?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2754

buy the weld in slugs from them as well and get moly tube to suit

I made a cheap set using using bits and pieces , worn out tie rod ends for the LH & RH thread, bolts, 5mm flat bar and 13mm ID tube.
Welded some flat bar to threads, made some brackets for top shock mounts with longer bolts and rear gear box mount on end of tuning forks
1 long tie rod with modified ends for between shock towers and 2 short tie rods from shock towers to gear box mount
Might look agricultural but with a quick spray of black paint and where it is on car no one can see, its a rally car so stone chips etc are normal
Have not used it yet but if not strong enough I can always weld a length of angle to stiffen up
