Solex Idle Jet Question

Hi Guys,

Im looking at some idle jets that I have sitting around.

Can any one explain the difference between a fg55 and a g55.

Or am I wrong thinking that the 'g' is an idle jet?

Ta

Roger

Do they look the same or similar, 55g should be an idle jet. Can you post a pic?

Grumble

The GF65 came out of a Brosial and the G55 came out of the electro magnetic shutoff spot on a PDST.

My curiosity arose as the G55 is a very tight fit into the Brosial Idle Jet spot.

Some comment on "55" vs. "g55" here:

Haven't seen "gf", is it definitely Solex? If the thread doesn't match exactly it may damage the carb body. Maybe the F should stay with the Brosol and the G with the Solex.
