Hi
Been working on and off on the Oval, my other bug and my Jap car take up most of my free time.
My Oval came with a 4 stud disc brake conversion, this would have moved the front wheels out a fair bit and limited wheel choice so Ive bought a 4
inch narrowed air beam from Skinned Knuckles and a rear airbag setup as well.
This how I've decided to have my wheels finished, not my wheels

I want to run a decent wheel on the front, not a fan of the sucked in narrowed beam look, so I fitted some lock stops to the drop spindles

I spoke to a friend of mine the other as to how to wire up semaphores in my car, Phil has extensive knowledge of VW electrical systems.
I have a Smiths electronic speedo for my car and as the original speedo had a signal coming back from the semaphores to turn n the indicator light in
the speedo a bit of trickery was needed
I'm also going to run front and rear indicators and will use two flasher cans to do this.
A few days after talking to Phil (AA003) a wiring kit and wiring diagram with correct VW wire colours arrived in the mail
Still a long way to go on the Oval but I like to have things nailed down ahead of time

This will not work with a standard VW speedo. For a standard VW speedo the diodes will need to be reversed.
