VW Shrine

Been collecting/hording VW stuff for a few years, finally
got around to doing something with some stuff that has
been in boxes for way too long. A sheild/shrine to all
things VW?!

Have made provision for a set of LEDs to go in behind and

Bet "she" isn't the only one...

I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Hoping someone out there may know where I could get
some rubbers for the two earlier tail lights at the top?

The 50-50 tail lights were introduced on Australian Beetles in June 1960. They were used until the 1962-and-a-half model came out in June 1962, which had the more familiar 3-segment tail light.

http://www.clubvw.org.au/history003

They were first produced by the Wolfsburg factory in late 1959 (1960 model) for German-made Beetles exported to Italy. The Australian factory soon picked up this particular improvement, and had them made here for our production line.
