WTD: Superbug (1303) radio surround plate & radio mount bracket.

Hello,

I'm after the attached two items for an L-Bug.

1. The radio plate which goes around the headset.
2. The metal bracket which screws to the metal behind the dash. The headset slides into this bracket.

Most likely because they've all been pulled out a good 30 years ago to hack in a modern head set unit!

I bought a little old ladies car a few years ago that had never had a radio fitted.

I'm not sure if you want an original look but I've made a DIN size plate out of aluminium sheet before and a complete cover to stick chequered contact too

They were probably never sold in Australia as LNC didn't sell factory radios.

I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!

I bought my L bug 3rd hand in about 1986, and it has the plastic surround part - I still use it.

Thanks all, might be easier to buy the LHD bit and cut the tab off on the left and try glue it on the right side.
