72 Beetle Floor Pans
Hi guys,
Been a while since i have posted, was supposed to start the rebuild last year but Covid pretty much put the brakes on that. So back at it now and
looking for some help and advice.
I have a 72 Super Beetle that needs new floor pans, i have stripped the chassis and cut out the old floors but now want some advice on whether to have
the chassis acid dipped or sandblasted? I have pricing on both but the acid dipping seems excessive like $1000.
Any advice/preference on either would be welcomed.
Also once the chassis is ready i have new Wolfsburg West pans to put in but i dont have the skills or equipment. Is there anyone here in the Sydney
(ideally North Ryde) area who can align and weld in new floor pans? happy to pay as long as it is reasonable.
