I didn't think sliding windows came out until much later, I'm pretty sure 1973 models had fixed glass with flipper windows

Steve
Sliders came out from factory in Australian busses in 1977.
What parts are you after?
The latch and other bits if the trim are the same T3/Vanagon
Most of it is available from Gowesty and Van-Cafe
I just rebuilt a set for my 1976
Well worth it.

If the latch is at the bottom front they are original VW
If it is at front side 3:00 or 9:00 o'clock (depending on the side) then they are aftermarket or Brazillian
I got my bits from GoWesty
You will need this bit if you are taking the window out to replace the felt

or

The felt seems out os stock at GoWesty ...... was there yesterday, but AVD wouldnt allow me to post
Found it at VanCafe

This is my van's windows
