1974 Australian 1300 seat design

I have an Australian assembled Beetle 1300, and I've considering buying TMI seat upholstery to fix the frazzled original vinyl. It looks to me that this car uses the same seat vinyl as the 1970-72 US cars. Is this correct? Because I don't want to spend a few hundred on something that doesn't fit and can't be returned.
