I need help tricking up a 2L gearbox

Has anyone tricked up an automatic gearbox from a 2L Kombi 010 model (linkage kickdown), what is involved in making it stronger. Any info would be greatly appreciated, how about you off road guys, what do you do to get those autos stronger. I will be putting it behind a V6. I heard once that you can put Audi clutch packs in 2L boxes is this true?
Thanks
