KG's with big tail lights

How come people dont like the later Karmann Ghias cos they have big tail lights and blinkers? no one says anything about the later type 3's. same tail lights. and I can replace my tail lights for a fraction of the cost, same as type 3

When it cames to Karmann Ghias...
I just love the late model ones with the late type 3 tail lamps front blinkers and the late type 3 Bumpers....
Its a shame that model Karmann ghia wan't sold here in Australia.

I was talking to a North Queenslander who owns a late Karmann Ghia Cabriolet at Nambucca. The car was an ex USA Ghia now RHD and immaculate...
He said He entered the Ghia in a VW Show in Qld, and the Judge said, the Ghia wasn't original as it had type 3 tail lamps... and was excluded from the show.
Boy I bet He was mad.... Lee

Nothing wrong with this one! Its got a Porsche 6 in there, a 993 boot spoiler and headlights and Porsche wheels. Nice GL.

I wouldn't mind that in MY garage....
but I'll bet it uses a lot more fuel than a 1600cc VW engine ...
Maybe I couldn't afford it after all...
Oh Well....
