beetle mirrors
so would the side mirror from a '67 or earlier bug mount straight onto my '68 or does it require some modifying?
i love the round mirrors

as far as I know, the early round mirrors fit into the door hinge, whereas the 1968> and later screw into a threaded hole.... I can't remember
seeing a round mirror screwed into the threaded hole..
You may have to make soething up...
I have seen round mirrors attached to the door frame on early beetles. I think they use the hot rod type mirrors and mount them onto the door some
how... maybe a couple of screws... Lee

have you thought about running talbot mirrors or peep mirrors they look not bad.Or you could weld some hinges of early door and run hinged mirrors or
maybe a swan neck mirror.I love mirrors its a hard dessision good luck wiv ya mirror search.
