Country Buggy for sale in the USA

Found this on the samba site too.

Qoute "RARE VW Country Buggy from Australia - $12,500 obo
This is an extremely rare 1968 VW Country Buggy. This was built in Australia by Volkswagen and features a type 1 floor pan and type two suspension bits. It is right hand drive, 6 volt electrics, 1300cc engine with crank start, 3 spoke standard steering wheel, very odd Beetle based seats and a whole host of other interesting features. This car is one of only three known in the US and one of roughly 100 known to exist world wide. I imported it personally from Australia and just finished the restoration. It is in fabulous shape and would be a very nice addition to any serious VW collection. Interesting trades considered... will help with shipping arrangements to anywhere. This is a very rare beast...there are less of these than there are Hebmullers in the world!!
