my Kombi's history

Hi,

I'm trying to find out about the 71 Kombi I've just purchased.

Is there anyway i can find out who the previous owners were ?

Does anyone know anything about E. Sopris & co, Kombi interior conversions.

cheers

Have you got the original number plate or rego sticker(like a tax disc).
That way we could find out what state it is from.
Cheers

I think you will find its a Sopru camper conversion (established 1969), built in Rocklea QLD, its only a few years since they shut down, I have some old information of theirs - drop me an email with any particulars. It has the roof used by Sopru, the rear alloy name plaque (painted over), but the interior - Im not so sure. You could buy them in many different trim levels, and through the dealers special order....

Dave - I think it's from SA if that helps any ?

Guy - Any info you have would be great :D, I think the interior has been done by E Sopris & Co. PTY Ltd.
Iwas wondering what the plate on the back was ;)

Oasis - Thats my pup Kala (Newfoundland)
The MG I would love to see Sold
The jet heater - well I would love to stay in australia where they aint needed ;)
& the Kombi - well I do love because it's a Australian import with lots off features the UK ones dont have, like a solid chasis :D

Hi Dave

Haven't a clue what the reg number was but found out that someone owned the van in the name off:

D Easton
** Haslemere Drive
Armadale
WA

there's also a number

97**21

I've left 2 off the numbers out just in case it's a phone number ?
