Any Pics from Weekend Affair - Vic

Any one have any pics from this weekend away.

We (Carol & I) had a great time and it was good to finally put few Aussie Vee Dubbers names to faces.
Car ran sweet there and back so that was good to. Gave it a good work on the climb up the Lake Mountain road, in the mist.

Was a brilliant weekend thanks to all who organised it. :bounce

On the way there....

Unfortunately the Toyota driver in front of REDBUS managed to sneak in at an intersection and we were stuck with him. Why can't people fix their smokey old motors?

Have to agree, it was an excellent weekend.

The organisers did a brilliant job. I can see why it is such a popular annual cruise:thumb

Here's a couple of more shots that Col emailed me

Greg's oval, all the way from Tassie, with headlights still on:o

Hmmm, one of the hazards of cruising. I always need reminding to turn mine off:)

Weekend Affair

What a top cruise, how does it go singing wine and whisky and wild wild women, well we had it all but still sane. Great organisation, company, wine, food etc and topped off with a trip to see the raptors at Healesville Sanctuary. Hard to top, literally.volma1

Not VW, but the Alvis car club (or some of them) turned up for lunch at the B&B on the Sunday, and I couldn't help but take some pics of their cars.

THis one took the owner 26 years to build from boxes of parts. He made a lot of the parts himself, including all of the friction dampers except for the actual levers, right down to the wooden friction plates and the printed end caps!! I was VERY impressed! :o

And was the house still standing? My kids used to do a tidy up because they'd experience how scary I can get if I find a big mess :o

Hang around next time and you may find the house back in order AND dinner cooked LOL
