Cylinder wear
Does anybody know what sort of wear is tolerated on your cylinders and pistons for a 93mm bore.

93mm is the stock bore for 1800cc Kombi engines... is this what you mean?
100,000 km on a motor at least. The heads will give way long before the rings and/or pistons-cylinders.
Really high mileage engines might see some wear on the cylinder walls, which a hone will probably take out anyway. New rings, and away you go.
