I have a vague memory of these, there was an article in an Aussie magazine, they were built in Europe (not sure which country) on a Porsche 928 floorpan, with a body made to look like - but panels not interchangable with a Mark 1 Or Mark11 (cant remember) Golf, a lot of fun on the Autobahn & they were not cheap

Actually, it was a one off. (or 2, if they were insane enough)
It was all the running gear of a 928, with custom made Mk1 panels around the car making it ridiculously large, but inproportion, surprisingly!
