I am very one eyed when it comes to rugby and I hate the fact that we lost .I must admit however that we were beaten by the hungrier team the desire
was very strong with the pommy forwards and our forwaards did not step up to the mark as they did in the game week before.
My consolation is that i was there to see the Aussies cream the all blacks in what was without doubt the game of the tournament and played in a class
that the pommies have never been close to.

Football is just something promoted by governments to take the focus off what a crab job the government is doing.
After all, 50,000 people at a football game on the weekend is 50,000 people not protesting against the government,
Its a focus shifter and most people seem to fall for it,
Thats a shame, After all who wins or loses a football match seems irrelevent to me, when there are so many more worthy ventures for undieing
enthusiasm, like sorting the road toll instead of just pretending to be making the effort as a disguise for revenue raising speed cameras,
They dont care about the road toll, they care about relieving people of their money.
To prove this, lets give a hypothetical scenario, Who would speed if the fine for 15 klms over the limit was $5000 and doubled each 15 klm/hr over
that.
Not I. But then there would be nowhere near the revenue raised as per the current scenario, so it will never happen.
I'm not even convinced that speeding is the big killer either, other countries survive happilly with no speed limit, they just make people be
responsible for their own actions.
Anyway good luck to the Poms, I'm glad you are enjoying the football, and Australia go get it back.

You only won cos one of our kickers spent half the game getting his mouth put back together. That and because wendell had a very ordinary game. And
because we couldnt win our own lineouts.
Aussies already have their name on the trophy twice. Share the wealth :P

Good on ya Pickle, good to see yas win something, but dont start on motors, VW's are from Germany. Vauxhalls and morris's, Wolsleys and
Austins, are things I can easily do without! Early Jaguars OK and AC Cobras, I wouldn't kick those out of my garage!
Meriden Triumps BSA's and Nortons, arn't much chop.
VW's and BMW motorbicycles, are the go for me! both German both aircooled and both boxers.

robo, I don't especialy mean making the cars, but we do make some top cars, rolls bently tvr jag lotus they may be owned by non english companies
but there still made in england , even bmw make engines in england,just making em go a bit faster
most formular 1 race teams are based in england like williams and mclaren and you have to admit we do make em go quick with a bit of help from our
german cousins i agree
and don't get me started on bikes........... bmw bike are crap and boring, got to give it to the japs for building bikes GSXR

They may be boring, but I wouldn't say a stock 1200 splitty is the latest in technology or fast for that matter, I spose ya better get rid of

BMW won world champs in what???? in there own bmw race series yeah :P
and i'm talking about within the last 20 years and not over some desert in africa.
can't say i ever saw a bmw race around the TT curcuit on the isle of man or win the GP either.
suzuki has won several world championships and they make top class sports bikes, i must say i don't really like the new models i got a old oil
cooled model not a new fangled water cooled jobby,
i rode a bmw bike once and must say it was terrible nasty gearbox and about as sporty as a frog!
as for there cars now there nice
and no thanks to the new bettle turbo i'll stay with my 2 splittys thanks
each to there own i suppose and it all depend what you want from your bike,
i got me split for chillin' out and cruising and the bike for................ well stress refeif
as for getting rid of my split i'ld rather stuff wasps up me arse :o
