Country Buggy Prices

Does anyone know what CBs are selling for these days.

I have found one 800kays away that is sitting in a wreckers yard in really long grass.
The guy reckons its had the motor redone but all the tyres are flat and hasn't been driven for ages.
They are asking 3000 for it Quote" as it is a rare car"

Don't know what year it is and are awaiting further details, I recall it had a hardtop.

Cheers in advance

depends on rust etc they rust quite a bit
mrs m and michael bought quite a nice one for $3k registered and everything
if yours is rust free for $3k would be reasonable
I think terry bought one for $2.5 k but had to do the brakes and engine and rego it it had no rust though
I was given one but it was rusted out had no motor and I had to reavel 1200km's to pickit up

Like Marcel said, it is dependant upon the rust situation. If the heater channels, sides and pan are okay and has a new motor then it could be in the ball park, a lot depends on what modifications have been made to it, as most buggies appear to have been "enhanced" over the years. The more original it is, then in my opinion, the better it is. The seats and the steering wheel generally are common to be changed.

Go and get it son, worry about the consequences later- I hate to think of a lonely old buggy sitting in a paddock..

I paid $2200 for mine - an almost basket case that required sills and the lower 3 inches be replaced nearly all the way around... stuffed front end, pan/chassis cracks, smoky engine... However, it was nearly 'all there' with correct steering wheel and seats. Yes, I agree I paid too much but big deal...it's only money, not an arm or a leg..!

Confused..

Okay it doesnt take much, but I take it that the photo of the buggy with the motor beside it is not the buggy that was from Luke Pell (whoever he is)- no offence but the one in the photo looked in need of at least a cut and polish as well (read- polite)

So, Ben, what does it require ??
