It looks like it was a good day. Hope everyone had fun?:D

Wasn't Santa hired by one of the biggest American/ multinational corporations in the world - Coca Cola?

The character of Santa Claus is copied from the life of a real person, a saint named Saint Nicholas. The name 'Saint Nicholas' even sounds like 'San-ta claus,' especially in the Dutch language. The Dutch veneration of 'Sinter Klaus' was brought to North America with the Dutch settlers and eventually became the story of Santa Claus that everyone knows.
:D

Ahhh now I know. :D

After the Protestant Reformation in Northern Germany, St. Nicholas was replaced by the Krist Kindl, the Christ Child. It should be noted though, that the figure of Santa Claus is really a non-Christian one and is based on the Germanic god Thor who rode on a chariot drawn by goats named Cracker and Cruncher.

Wow. :D

Santa Claus forever. Yay!:tree

Yeah that's why my generation is so messed up, we had to much Santa in our lifes.

Where is the Easter Bunny ?.
We should Shoot and skin him as well.

I can remember when I was young and I believed, it was magical.
I've seen kid's meeting Santa through Santas eyes more than once at a busy shop, two VW partys and a function. Ive never asked to be Santa people have asked me, and you can tell when the kid's believe and they love it. Why take this away from kids ?.
I'm a huge Ford fan and V8 super car supporter, and meeting Craig Lowndes on the weekend for me was like meeting Santa.
It gave me a huge Buzz. :)

People are to serious these days, by the time I have kid's. Christmas wont even be a day off.

Yeah get rid of the easter bunny and santa, then the world will be a better place...Christmas and Easter will always be around...but its not the day thats important...its what we celebrate and how we celebrate, its values, peace, love, family and friends... You dont need fictional characters to celebrate that, its no longer about giving, its become all about getting...breeding selfish and self absorbed children:tree
