Type 3 Question

Can anyone tell me when they stopped making the Type 3's? Was told it was in '74, but does anyone know which month.

Was looking at one the other day and was told it was made in the last month of production, but forgot to look at the plate.

Thanks

I've also seen July '73 as the end of production.

Okay, now I am confused! My fastie has 8/73 on its plate, and the WCM book from Vintage Vee Dub Supplies has some of the Type 3 parts to fit years 62-74. I just thought they made them until 74. Will have to go look at the guys plate to check it out.
