overriders for bus?
just wondering if there are any overriders out there that could be modified to fit a late bay kombi?

Well yes and no.
I assume your talking about the L bug type over riders???
If so yes it's possible, just make the cut out at the back larger and alter the angle they sit at a little, a hole through your bumper and your
away.
The problem is the beetle ones are quite small and would look dicky on the larger Bay bus bumpers.
I have seen quite tall over riders on US kombi's, but never in Oz.

it doesnt really bother me wether they are VW or not, but i imagine they would have to be more square then the usual ones, with either a flat or
ribbed front ot match the bumpers (and not chrome) i was just wondering whether anyone could think af a vehicle for which such overriders were made.

Have a look at the bumper overiders next time on Dubnut's red lowbus. I sold him 4 NOS german made bumper overiders for Bay Bus that look sweet,
plus they have been chromed to suit. I have only seen these on 2 other busses so far. Keep a look out as the US ones look too big and look out of
place.
