Probably me...

That was probably me if it was today as I live nearby and was through the roundabout about half a dozen times, I registered the buggy this arvo after it was off the road for a year long resto. The colour is the Paprika Red, which was an original colour.

Were you in a dub, I waved (or at least acknowledged someone) in a dub, but cant recall exactly where..

I still have a few little things that I want to tidy up, but sure was nice to finally get to drive it, I hadnt really driven it before as when I purchased it it was unregistered.

I am expecting some teething problems, but so far all is well...

Good to hear its on the road.....:thumb
How do you find driving with the reduction hub rear end? I drove Mrs M's country buggy over at Straddie a little while ago and have also driven a manx with country buggy running gear and its a strange feeling having the back jack up when you accelerate...

Buggy

Driving it is definitely different, I kinda like the way it sits up, especially noticible when starting off up an incline. Certainly does raise a few looks driving around in it, I have a restored 58 FC Holden that gets the odd admirer, but the buggy is more the 'What the...' look.

After having had it off the road for a year and not previously driven it much, (apart from my small driveway) I am very happy with it.

Will try and make the VW activities, when time permits.

Peter
