Anyone else dealt with the instrument panel lights yet ?
I'm replacing the main swith (dimmer) ect but found that when I hotwire the instrument lights the fuel guage goes Nutso !!

Any ideas ?

it would be dut to the fact that the intsrument lights have only 1 or 2 main earths and therefore all the electrics in the gauge are connected.

Somehow your supplying 12v to your fuel gauge instead of going through the resistance in your fuel gauge circuit,or i could be totally wrong.:thumb

Found a blown bulb when i removed the instrument panel, replaced it but still the same problem,,
Will try another swich (headlights and dimmer)
