Guards could be original-I would be more worried about the bumpers and the mirrors

thats a reflection of a tree or power pole.
The guards look to have way to much of a bump in them around the lights

look like early gaurds with late gaurd headlight buckets welded/bogged in. as u mentioned the large hump around the headlight buckets.

stuff the gaurds, i would just baja it and put a nice set of glass gaurds and whale tale then sell it o/s !

Na they are 6v guards they just have rossie head lights..... this is a subtle hint for BUZZZ...... get em offffff!!!!!! and horn grilles are chrome!
