The BEST in AUSTRALIA
Now is an appropriate time to announce the name of the BEST Water Cooled VW mechanic in Australia.
His name is Keiren Gradadge and he works at LENNOCK MOTORS in Canberra.
Here is a back ground on him:
VW AG have had a competition going with all their dealers and service departments in Australia. The competition consisted of regional, state and then
National competitions for mechanics to fix problems on the current range of water cooled VW's
Keiren came FIRST in AUSTRALIA and has just been over to SINGAPORE for a week long competition, where he came................THIRD in the Asian
Pacific region.
A terrific effort for a 21 year old who has been in the trade for 5 years, going against mechanics with 25+ years experiance.
He is going to GERMANY for 2 Months in 2003 to the home of our beloved VW for some TRAINING by the staff at Wulfsgurg!
So if you see a 21 year old, long haired guy at Sydney international Airport tomorrow morning wearing a smile as big as the Sydney Harbour bridge, it
might just be him!

If I see him at the airpoirt tomorrow, I'll take him up to the lounge for a quiet drink or two (closely followed by quiet a few bloody noisy ones
