spring return on 28pict carbie
the 28pictcarb has no spring return, how do i rig one up, can ne1 help me with it ?

From memory, the stock one is a simple coil spring.
Try the wreckers if your close to one, or many bolt places/hardware stores have a range of springs. Sure to have one close.

Andy is correct. The early carbs had a simple coil spring approx 9mm dia 150mm long that fitted over the accel cable between the fan housing and the
butterfly lever.
You can make a bracket similar to the later carbs that will use the normal spring.

Go and get a stock spring, clip, accelerator tube and spring retainer tube that goes through the fan housing or come and see me and i will find
one for you.
