Good rust and panel shop in Brisbane
I'm looking for a good rust and body shop for a second quote on work to a 76 kombi camper. I've already been to Tony at the Gabba, any other
suggestions? Thanks, andrew |

Can you give me an idea of what work you are getting done and what the quotes you are getting are like. I need to have some work done too and would
like to know what the cost will be like?
Cheers

rusty camper
thanks for your help Sky, will call steve this week. In answer to you Rusty Camper I need to get a lot of work down in all the usual places. Under
doors, under the battery plates, under the floor, around the windows. New windscreen, new seals, etc. may or may not do this depending on the cost.
tony at the gabba quote around $3,600 for the job. starting to think it might be better to scrap the old girl and buy again. this time i'll avoid
campers previously owned by avid beach fishermen! however i have spent a fair amount on her mechanically so .... undecided. when i get a second quote
i'll let you know the figure. |

andym, where abouts is Tony at the Gabba (i.e whats the shop called)
What were they like? I find some can give you good quotes but if there pains to deal with it, it can just make the experience ordinary)
Cheers

Brad, if andym is referring to Tony at the gabba as in Tony's smash repairs on Balaclava St (just near the logan rd intersection). That is where
dad got his corvair painted (you should know what it looks like since it was your wedding car
I think it was around $5000 for the respray (don't think it was back to bare metal)...nice job for sure but I would have wanted a little better
for that money. Just my opinion of course!
